December 1870 in Lambton County, Ontario. Jane was living with her older
brother Anthony, for the 1891 census232.
Thomas Frederick Lewis, son of Hugh Drennan and Sophia Johnson, was born 9 April 1868 at Ireland233. Thomas left Ireland in 1885.
Jennie and Thomas were married 12 July 1892 at Sarnia, Ontario234. The marriage record showed Thomas as an engineer. They had four children: Alfred Earl, Abby Adeline, Charlotte Marguerite and Thomas Frederick Lewis. The 1901 census found this family at Dawn Township, Lambton County in an eight room house on 100 acres.
Thomas was said to have played the violin. When he lost an arm in a thrashing machine accident is unknown. At the time of his death, he was listed as a retired farmer. Thomas died from Carcinoma of the Stomach on 6 February 1935 and was buried in the cemetery at Oil Springs, Ontario235.
Jennie studied at the London Conservatory of Music, and was said to play the piano and organ. Jennie was on staff of the Westervelt Business College and later with the Detroit News. She died on 5 July 1949 and was buried in the cemetery at Oil Springs, Ontario.
